When a deal with General Manhowers falls through, despite an elaborate production to impress him, Dr. Venture faces the possibility of having to sell the Venture Compound. Fortunately, Dr. Henry Killinger shows up to turn the company into an efficient super-science machine. With that goal accomplished he focuses on fixing Rusty's personal issues, but does he have something more evil in store for Dr. Venture?

• Dr. Venture plans an invention showcase for General Manhowers. To impress him, the Ventures and Orpheuses stage an elaborate ruse to make Venture Industries appear more cutting-edge than it is.
• Jonas Jr. is excited for his brother, despite meetings with Manhowers being routine and successful for himself. Hadji, who's working for JJ calls with news about Jonny Quest being "in a bad, bad way".
• The Manhowers meeting is a failure, as the General isn't impressed by the inventions he's already seen before. Even Rusty's "sneakies" don't make much of an impression, except on Hank's face.
• Dr. Henry Killinger shows up and offers pro bono efficiency training and team building services to Dr. Venture.
• Life springs back into the Venture Industries with a new team of employees called "Venchmen" and a reopening of the manufacturing wing.
• Conjectural Technologies is absorbed by Venture Industries through a hostile takeover.
• Orpheus is evicted when Killinger seeks to put the Arachnid Research Lab back into use. Sensing something wrong, Orpheus used his powers on Killinger to little effect and the necromancer is left unconscious and bloody on the floor.
• The Alchemist helps Orpheus, letting him and Triana stay at his place.
• With the business matters in hand, Killinger's attention turns to the mending of Rusty's soul.
• Rusty steps into the Magic Murder Bag to face fears and insecurities stemming from childhood such as an incident when he saw his dad's "junk" during breakfast.
• Brock has become bored now that Killinger has secured the compound from villainous threats. He visits with Orpheus and they decide to head to Venture Industries and stop the dark doctor.
• Killinger bonds with the twins. He tutors Dean in educational matters and Hank in violence.
• Dr. Venture is given a costume designed by Killinger. It is reminiscent of Lex Luthor's Challenge of the Superfriends costume but also utilizes Captain Cold's goggles.
• Samson, Orpheus and the Alchemist attempt a daring raid on the compound.
• Killinger draws up an arch-enemy contract drawn up for Rusty, with Jonas Jr. as the arching target! Rusty realizes that he is being set up to be a supervillain.
• The invading trio reach the RROCC just in time to find Rusty signing a contract, but it's Killinger's severance agreement.
• Rusty is left dejected and naked (literally) by the realization that others see him as a bad person.
• Dr. Venture sorts through his old mail and is almost killed by a snake in a package sent by the Monarch, saved only by the fact that the snake's been in the box since June 6, 2003 and is dried to dust. He vows to get his shit together.

• This episode contains Killinger's only reference to President Richard Nixon, in which he references giving Nixon his first power tie.
• Rusty's supervillain outfit is possibly inspired by the costume Lex Luthor wore for several decades in DC comics; both featured straps holding cylindrical capsules and a high collar.
• At the end of the episode, Killinger can be heard quoting Shakespeare's As You Like It." Inexplicably, General Manhowers refers to this as being in the Bible.
